The Senior Content Editor is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the content produced by the digital marketing team. They ensure that the content aligns with the company's marketing strategy, brand guidelines, and quality standards to engage and convert the target audience effectively.
- Collaborate with the content team and other stakeholders to develop a content strategy that aligns with the company's marketing objectives and target audience.
- Develop and maintain an editorial calendar, coordinating content production to ensure a steady flow of high-quality content.
- Review and edit a variety of content types, including blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, website content, and more, to ensure accuracy, clarity, grammar, and brand consistency.
- Focus on creating content that resonates with the target audience, stimulates engagement, and supports lead generation or conversion goals.
- Develop and maintain content style guidelines, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across all marketing materials.
- Work closely with writers, designers, and other team members to ensure content is on brand and aligned with overall marketing goals.
- Ensure that all content adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, such as copyright laws and data privacy regulations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior content editors and writers, helping them improve their skills and understanding of digital marketing.
- Proven experience in content editing and digital marketing for 5 years and above.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in digital marketing.
