Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific (AUNZSP) is Visa’s advisory division, working with Visa’s clients (including card issuers, acquirers, and merchants) on a broad range of key business initiatives including strategy, proposition development, loyalty, operational optimisation, customer engagement and overall business profitability.

VCA is made up of three services lines – Advisory, Data Science and Managed Services, the latter being the execution arm of VCA. Our Managed Services teams (also known as squads) are embedded on client sites leading long-term engagements and delivering value primarily through implementation and execution services. We deliver objectives from a shared value agenda but are also closely connected to the broader VCA team, sharing knowledge, and bringing the best of Visa to the client.

We are looking for a dedicated Content Designer / UX Writer to join our team and work within a key strategic client in Melbourne. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract with the potential to extend.

Role Summary

As the Content Designer / UX Writer you will a part of a centralised function, primarily responsible for creating content and working closely with UX designers for the clients’ card and transact/save account interfaces across multiple platforms. This includes content within their market leading banking app, as well as platforms such as their website. It will also entail preparing content for artefacts such as FAQs or scripting for support staff. Your role will be integral to conveying the clients’ services and initiatives to customers in a clear, engaging and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

  • Developing content for in-app experiences, FAQs, scripting for support teams, the company website and general supporting documentation and materials
  • Collaborating with various teams to ensure successful creation and delivery of relevant content assets
  • Work closely with the UX designers to produce high quality UX designs, leveraging company style and guidelines
  • Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies

The role will ideally be based in Melbourne Australia in a hybrid work environment (minimum 3 days in office per week).

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working on app, digital or creative content, simplifying the complex to distil what’s important and relevant to the customer
  • An ability to produce customer-centric content, elevating design and improving customer experience
  • An ability to write and adapt your language to maintain consistency with the rest of the proposition (customer-centric, plain English)
  • An ability to strike a harmonious balance between long-term, big-picture thinking and getting things delivering quickly
  • Experience working with Figma (or other design tools)
  • Experience working within a design team, creative team or in an agency environment
