What you will be doing

The role of the Associate Writer encompasses country report writing and analysis. The Associate will generate content spanning across various Euromonitor topics, including country reports, regional and global briefings. This position involves the automation and management of data and source inputs for a specific topic using tools such as Excel, VBA, or other analysis related efficiency measures. The goal is to efficiently produce a large volume of content, aiding writers in delivering high-quality content more effectively. The Associate Writer will also conduct quality checks on report sections written by others as part of their daily responsibilities. 

How will you be doing it 

  • Author comprehensive country, regional, and global reports on designated topics within specified deadlines. 
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, VBA, or other to enhance the incorporation of internal and external data to enhance writing efficiency. 
  • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability. 
  • Develop expertise in subjects related to economies, consumers, and other market and industry topics. 

What you’ll need 

  • Degree in Business, Economics, Management or similar field (can be a final year student) 
  • Strong written communication skills. Fluency in English 
  • Well-developed organizational skills, including prioritizing, scheduling, multi-tasking 
  • Ability to clearly communicate research findings, implications and recommendations in a concise and accessible manner 
  • High level of numeracy and the ability to tell a story from the data. Proficiency in Excel. Knowledge in python or other programming languages could be an advantage  
  • Attention to detail with ability to meet tight deadlines 
  • Editorial skills
