Job Title: Associate Editor

Salary Range: $1200-$2250

Schedule: 6am to 3pm EST would be acceptable, 8am to 5pm EST would be most preferred

We’re opening up more publications covering artificial intelligence in the finance and pharmaceutical industries, and we’re looking for a team member to help support our articles, podcasts, and other content. This Editor role will have an immediate ability to reach over 1,000,000 annual readers/listeners.

Our purpose is to inform executive leaders to make smarter business decisions about artificial intelligence. Smart editorial coverage is how we fulfill this mission – so this role is crucial to our clients and audiences.

This Associate Editor role directly supports our purpose in a major way, and will work directly under our CEO and Head of Research, and Managing Editor.

We’re looking for someone with the smarts and gusto to analyze the market and find unique, valuable insights to help leaders achieve their AI goals – and someone with the ability to work directly with our sponsors and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Secondary Research and Writing About AI Applications

Searching for news, updates, use-cases, and trends from news sources, startup tech sources, and other Think Tank and business media sources.

•  Interviewing AI Leaders (for Podcasts / Articles)

Our banking AI research and content will involve many direct interviews with AI leaders at startups and financial services organizations, and this Managing Editor role will involve regularly gleaning insights from these leaders.

• Publishing

Publishing and sharing our research and articles is a critical part of serving our clients, and getting feedback to fuel our improvement.

The Associate Editor will:

— Work closely with our customers in order to deliver on white papers, articles, and other client deliverables

— Publishing content on WordPress

— Collaborate with writers/designers to create quality, on-time content for our global executive audience

— Promote published content on company and personal social media accounts (engaging actively with AI leaders)

Must Haves:

• A genuine enthusiasm for AI, emerging tech
• Be comfortable speaking with executives in the context of interviews
• B2B /tech /business writing or editing experience
• An existing portfolio of written work (preferably about tech, science, or business)

Nice-to-Haves:

• Prior work in high-tech or data-related fields/topics  
• Experience with editing and publishing content
