Job Description

We’re seeking a savvy, sharp copywriter. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in all things lifestyle and retail—from food and style to home, outdoor, and tech—and has experience as a copywriter in a fast-paced agency or in-house setting.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work closely with the client to translate brand strategy and tone of voice into compelling creative concepts anchored by precise, crisp copy
  • Write snappy, strong headlines, subheads, and banners for digital assets, ensuring all nail—and push forward—the brand tone of voice
  • Ensure that all caption and technical copy is accurate and maps to marketing messaging requirements, product lists, and work orders
  • Ensure brand tone, style, and editorial integrity throughout every piece of written copy
  • Maintaining brand copy guide with evolving client feedback and business strategy
  • Discuss copy with senior-level clients over video calls, and consolidate and respond to any feedback
  • Consolidate and track all copy feedback during the revision process
  • Help manage relationships with copy editors, designers, strategists, and copywriters
  • Stay up-to-date on current digital marketing trends and best practices

Qualifications

  • Experience working as a copywriter for the retail sector
  • Excellent writing skills with a clear, concise, and engaging style
  • Experience helping to shape a brand’s specific tone of voice
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • An ability to multi-task on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience writing website content, social media, email marketing campaigns, display advertising, banner copy and SEO content
  • Experience with Workfront and/or project management systems like Asana a plus

Additional Information

The anticipated salary range for this position is $45,000-$72,450. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
