What will you be doing in this role?

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an AI Business Analyst to join our UniQue team in Brussels Belgium!

  • Analysis and documentation of policy needs, business requirements, document requirements and data requirements, necessary for the application of artificial intelligence(AI) services in a policy-making or policy-enforcement context.
  • Business process analysis and modelling.
  • Data analysis and modelling.
  • Knowledge graph modelling.
  • Prompt engineering on Large Language Models and validation of the results returned, in collaboration with policy officers.
  • Contribution to the business aspects of the scale-up and gap analysis of AI prototypes, aiming at turning them into production services or systems that bring actual values to the policy officers (time, cost, deliverable quality).
  • Carry out the business scale-up of the AI prototypes in order to make them production ready. Analyse and document the business impact of the technical solutions designed by the innovation team.
  • Analyse and document the readiness and maturity of the solutions candidate for inclusion or included in the AI service catalogue.
  • Risk analysis.
  • Security and data protection analysis.
  • Assistance in business cases, project charters and other IT governance documents.
  • Control of the quality and continuous improvement of the services put into production.
  • Contribution to the improvement of the overall AI service catalogue.
  • Understand the wider AI context at the European Institution, follow its evolution and design the European Institution solutions in relation to the European Institution ecosystem of tools and services.
  • Organize live demonstration of the services, contribute to communication initiatives

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

  • At least 10 years of specific expertise in:
  • Enterprise-level multi-user information systems, more particularly artificial intelligence solutions, data mining, business intelligence solutions, automations and cloud solutions.
  • Business analysis, business process modelling, functional analysis or enterprise architecture.
  • Good knowledge of administrative business processes, ideally in the public sector.
  • Good knowledge of analysis and modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams, BPMN, UML etc.).
  • At least 5 years of specific expertise in:
  • Linked data, knowledge graphs, semantic interoperability, etc.
  • Good knowledge of application lifecycle management toolboxes (i.e. Jira, Confluence, Sharepoint, BigPicture, Gliffy, Balsamiq, etc.).
  • IT security and data protection principles, methodologies and tools.
  • At least 1 year of specific expertise in Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models.
  • Drafting and technical writer skills.
  • Knowledge of public administration processes, such as policy preparation and evaluation, institutional decision-making, work programme definition, policy implementation and monitoring, incident detection and investigation.
  • Knowledge of the public health domain is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the food safety domain is an asset
  • Ability to understand, speak and write in English (C1 – Proficient user).
