We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer with a passion for simplifying complex technical information and creating user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical acumen and excellent communication skills to support global teams and drive internal knowledge-sharing efforts.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of professional experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
- A strong interest in developing deeper technical knowledge alongside honing writing and communication skills.
- Excellent command of written English and a proven ability to craft clear, concise documentation.
- Intellectual curiosity and prior experience writing knowledge base articles or user guides.
- A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Communications, Computer Science, Literature, or a related field (certifications in writing/communication are also considered).
- The ability to grasp complex technical processes and explain them to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear, structured way.
- Experience in using visuals—such as annotated screenshots, infographics, and charts—to support written documentation, while adhering to brand and style guidelines.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across global teams.
- Strong attention to detail, especially regarding formatting, tone, and documentation standards.
- Creativity and adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to U.S.-based offices if required.
Preferred Technical Exposure
- Experience in documenting and troubleshooting systems or tools such as:
- macOS and Windows environments
- Zendesk
- Okta
- Jamf
- Meraki
- Confluence, Jira, Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, VoIP tools
- Snagit or other screen capture/editing tools
Nice-to-Have Experience (Not Mandatory)
- Creating engaging video tutorials using tools like Final Cut Pro, iMovie, or mmhmm.
- Familiarity with Linux systems and related documentation.
- Exposure to project management workflows or tools.
