About the Job:
Translation Empire is seeking a dynamic Bid Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality, compelling bid responses and proposals to secure new business opportunities. You will work closely with business development, sales, technical, and operations teams to produce accurate and persuasive content tailored to client requirements.
Responsibilities:
· Manage the complete bid cycle from drafting to proofreading, formatting, submission, and follow-ups.
· Identify and monitor tender opportunities through portals, procurement websites, and market research.
· Prepare high-quality, tailored bids and proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and ITTs.
· Research eligibility criteria, client requirements, and project scopes to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
· Coordinate with internal teams to collect data, case studies, and technical input for proposals.
· Track and report bid outcomes maintain a knowledge base of successful submissions and lessons learned.
· Respond to client queries and clarifications during and after the bidding process.
· Interpret tender documents and client specifications to ensure complete and compliant responses.
· Write, edit, proofread, and format bid content to meet client expectations and submission requirements.
· Track bid progress, manage submission timelines, and ensure timely delivery.
· Respond to clarification questions and follow up on submitted proposals when required.
· Analyze feedback from previous bids to improve future submissions.
· Conduct thorough research to ensure compliance with tender specifications and eligibility criteria.
· Responding to the queries on proposals and raising concerns from assessing ToRs.
· Contributing to the written proposal- both in terms of content and presentation (preparation of a management summary).
· Ensure bids are grammatically correct and free of spelling errors.
· Review and assess the competitive landscape to support the bid process.
Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in bid/tender writing, proposal development, or procurement.
· Fluent in English with exceptional written communication skills.
· Demonstrated experience managing multiple proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines.
· High attention to detail, with the ability to write complex narratives clearly and persuasively.
