What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the Managing Editor (News), you’ll write daily articles about the most important developments, devices, and software in the computing and mobile computing worlds.
You’ll write news stories about hardware such as Nvidia graphics cards or software such as iOS, tutorials on how to change settings in Windows or an opinion piece about the latest Samsung phone or tablet. You’ll also have the opportunity to write explainers, features, interviews, and contribute to social and video content.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- Basic understanding of SEO
- Experience writing in online media
- A good knowledge of the consumer computing and mobile markets
- Ability to explain complex subjects in a clear and easily understood fashion
- Strong writing ability, including excellent spelling and grammar

This is a Hybrid role from our New York Office, working three days from the office, two from home
