Your opportunity

  • Champion the Request for Proposal (RFP)/Request for Information (RFI)/Due Diligence Questionnaire (DDQ) process in its entirety, serving as writer, project manager and search/tender proponent
  • Build compelling and impactful proposals that accurately message firm and product capabilities and competitive advantages
  • Tailor standard content for customization based on unique client/prospect and regional requirements
  • Self-edit work to ensure a consistent style/voice, full responsiveness to questions and no material errors
  • Remain apprised of firm/product developments, contribute effective content to the content management system, and proactively seek opportunities to add new value
  • Incorporate complex data analysis into proposal materials as appropriate
  • Build and maintain relationships with Subject Matter Experts across the firm to facilitate positive relationships during the proposal development process
  • Regularly interact with Sales personnel to coordinate and implement strategy in completing RFPs on products offered by Janus Henderson and its subsidiaries
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills

  • 3 years writing experience for grants or proposals
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; preferably in Finance, English, Journalism or Communications
  • Solid understanding of and previous experience in the institutional investment management business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and cloud-based collaboration tools (ex Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint)
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead complex projects to successful completion
  • Previous content management system experience (ex. Qvidian)
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Analytical and strong problem solving skills

Compensation information

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 – $90,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. This role will remain open through December 2, 2024.

Annual Bonus Opportunity: Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool. The profit pool is funded based on Company profits. Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
