Role: Service Writer
Are you a personable and proactive individual with a knack for customer service? If you love powersports and want to be part of a dynamic team, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule customer appointments for repair, maintenance, and recall services.
• Greet customers warmly, inspect their vehicles, and address any queries they may have.
• Document vehicle issues comprehensively and prepare clear Repair Orders.
• Keep the Service Manager informed of any additional service needs or delays, ensuring timely communication with customers.
• Advise customers on necessary and recommended services, including providing cost estimates.
• Promote additional services, parts, and special offers to enhance the customer experience.
• Review ongoing Repair Orders to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
• Track progress on customer vehicles from initial entry to completion.
• Communicate updates on timelines, repairs, and costs effectively to customers.
• Provide final reviews of completed work orders with customers.
• Stay current on industry knowledge and training provided by the Service Manager.
• Perform any additional duties assigned to contribute to team success.

• 1+ years of experience in a Powersports or Automotive Dealership setting.
• Proficient in composing clear and precise repair orders while explaining repairs to customers.
• Familiarity with maintenance schedules and service requirements for various powersports vehicles is advantageous.
• Exceptional customer service and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and professional appearance.
• Dependable, energetic, and personable with an ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
• Motorcycle Endorsement preferred but not required.
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment screenings, including background check, MVR, and drug test.
