UX Writer

Salla is looking for a talented UX Writer to join our Product team. As a UX Writer, you will be responsible for crafting clear, concise, and engaging copy that enhances our user experience across web and mobile interfaces. You will be tasked with making complex information easily digestible for our users, which requires a deep understanding of our products’ functionalities and user behaviors. This role will involve navigating the complexities of creating consistent messaging across multiple platforms while balancing the needs of various stakeholders.

You will work closely with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Developers to ensure our content is user-centric, supports the overall product vision, and contributes to its success. As we at Salla continue to rapidly expand our user base and product lines, your ability to adapt and contribute to our evolving landscape will be crucial.

Responsibilities:

• Write clear, consistent, concise user interface copy for various UI elements, including buttons, error messages, tooltips, notifications, and onboarding flows.
• Develop copy in various formats, from concise microcopy to long-form content and engaging emails.
• Conduct user research, test content effectiveness, and continuously iterate on your copy using data and analytics to inform your content decisions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to produce content that meets user needs and business goals.
• Collaborate with Product Designers using interface design tools like Figma to ensure alignment between content and design.
• Ensure consistency of brand voice and tone across all user touchpoints.
• Tailor writing style to resonate with various audience segments.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
• +3 years of proven experience as a UX Writer, Copywriter, or a similar role in a digital product environment.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both Arabic and English.
• Excellent understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
• Domain knowledge in e-commerce or Salla is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create user-centered content
